The Microchip Technology Inc. 24AA01/24LC01B (24XX01*) is a 1 Kbit Electrically Erasable PROM. The device is organized as one block of 128 x 8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. Low-voltage design permits operation down to 1.7V with standby and active currents of only 1 µA and 1 mA, respectively. The 24XX01 also has a page write capability for up to 8 bytes of data. The Microchip Technology Inc. 24AA128/24LC128/ 24FC128 (24XX128*) is a 16K x 8 (128 Kbit) Serial Electrically Erasable PROM (EEPROM), capable of operation across a broad voltage range (1.7V to 5.5V). It has been developed for advanced, low-power applications such as personal communications or data acquisition. This device also has a page write capability of up to 64 bytes of data. This device is capable of both random and sequential reads up to the 128K boundary. Functional address lines allow up to eight devices on the same bus, for up to 1 Mbit address space. This device is available in the standard 8-pin plastic DIP, SOIC (3.90 mm and 5.28 mm), TSSOP, MSOP, DFN, and Chip Scale packages.

The Microchip Technology Inc. 25LC128 is a 128k-bit Serial Electrically Erasable PROM. The memory is accessed via a simple Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) compatible serial bus. The bus signals required are a clock input (SCK) plus separate data in (SI) and data out (SO) lines. Access to the device is controlled through a Chip Select (CS) input. Communication to the device can be paused via the hold pin (HOLD). While the device is paused, transitions on its inputs will be ignored, with the exception of Chip Select, allowing the host to service higher priority interrupts. The 25XX128 is available in standard packages including 8-lead PDIP and SOIC, and advanced packaging including 8-lead DFN and 8-lead TSSOP
